SIAC (School Improvement Advisory Council)
The Purpose of SIAC is to serve our school in an advisory capacity to the administration for the purpose of improving the quality of education and the effective operation of Mesa Academy for Advanced Studies. This council meets once per month. If you are interested, please contact Dr. Davis at (480) 308-7433.
School Day Volunteers
If you're looking to volunteer during the school year, below are some descriptions of ongoing opportunities. We are currently looking for Lunch Support Volunteers.
Lunch Support
Job Description: Assist staff with supervision of school lunches. Ensure students clean up after themselves before dismissing them to the outdoors and help reset the MPR following the second lunch. During the break between the two lunches, check if there are staff support duties to fulfill.
Staff Support
Job Description: Assist faculty with copies, flyers, and miscellaneous small tasks. Help the front office as requested, run notes to classrooms, maintain lost and found (try to return labeled items to students).
