Why Do We Fundraise?

The purpose of the MAAS Parent-Teacher Organization (PTO) is, in part, to provide financial assistance in the areas of academics, school improvement and social activities to support the mission of our school. In pursuit of this purpose, the PTO provides funding for a wide range of projects and purchases that will enhance the educational experience of MAAS students. Teachers and staff may request PTO funds for special equipment, software, books, club needs, art supplies, special projects, field trips, speakers and other classroom supplies that are not covered by our school district. The PTO strives to distribute funds equitably and hopes to provide the greatest benefit to the largest number of students.
